Narnie began with an adorable French Bulldog who never blended in.

Raised in New York City, then relocated to Australia’s east coast, Bella (affectionately nicknamed “Narnie”, inspired by her nickname "Bella Banana") has always embodied a certain confidence.

In New York, style wasn’t optional. It was instinctive. From designer pieces to perfectly coordinated walking sets, she was accustomed to a wardrobe that felt considered, expressive and elevated - shaped by life in Chelsea, a neighbourhood synonymous with art, design and understated style.

When she arrived in Australia, something felt different. The local pet market leaned playful, with bold cartoons and excessive hardware. While fun, it didn’t reflect the refined yet vibrant aesthetic Bella had grown into. She wasn’t a novelty. She wasn’t a children’s character. She was a city dog with presence.

And so, Narnie was created.

Designed in Australia and Australian owned, Narnie is a female-founded brand creating fashion-forward pieces with clean silhouettes and minimal hardware. After years of trying harnesses and collars from countless brands, we developed a strong understanding of what truly worked for everyday wear. Combining that experience with our own creative direction, we created pieces that reflect everything we wanted for Bella - and now for pets with style everywhere.
